I'm in the Delta jet heading back to Atlanta--sorry to be leaving Montana again. I did think I would have enough time on this trip to write a little something about my daily adventures, but I've pretty much been busy every day. So I'll recap the trip and add in some pictures.

My friend, Delores, and I left Atlanta on our way to Polson, MT to spend the next 5 days with my friends Jack and Jane Clapp, who own a beautiful 1350 acre ranch outside of Polson and Flathead Lake (largest fresh water make west of the Mississippi). They have a wonderful guest house above their garage and have invited me to visit any time.

I must say that the weather could have been nicer for our arrival. Fog, fog, and more fog!! You can hardly see in front of you, the fog is so thick. So we won't see much today. As one might expect, Jane and Jack have some errands to run, since they live 1 1/2 hours away from Missoula. So we had a great lunch (I had to have a Bison Burger with Portabello mushrooms -- yummy) and then set off for the sporting goods store to buy ammunition. Not what I do every day, but then I don't live in a fairly remote area on Montana where coyotes, bears, and other creatures roam around free. Yikes!!

Delores and I are fairly tired from the travel and the 2 hour time change, so we make it a very early evening and settle into the guest apartment.
