Happy New Year to anyone who might still be looking at this blog. I haven't made any entries since I returned from Montana last summer. But I am about to head back out West, and I wanted to continue to keep a journal of my Montana adventures.

This trip is to Polson, MT with my friend Delores. We'll be staying with my friends Jack and Jane Clapp who have a big ranch in Polson. Delores and I have only gone to Montana in the summer (although one June trip had enough snow to qualify as winter!!), and we've always wanted to see what it is like in the winter. We are planning to do some snowmobiling, and ride a dog sled. So I should have some good stories and pictures to post to the blog.

I'm also going to be looking at some properties -- either for purchase or maybe some summer rental. I really still want to go back to Montana this summer, but spend more time on the western side of the state. My property in Nye has appreciated a lot in value, and I think I may be selling it to get the profits, and buy a much smaller piece of land, and have some money to start constructing a place of my own. Anything is possible!!
